3 simple steps to grow your YouTube channel and start making money!
Youtube is easily becoming one of the best platforms to monetize. They offer so many monetization opportunities, but let’s focus on a few basics.
First, you need at least 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours before your page can be considered for monetizing. Don’t stop reading now, stay with me! It’s easy to get caught up in the numbers, I’ve done it countless times, but pour that energy into creating your content. Let’s focus on the consistency and the money will come. I would like to share with you two very important pieces of my YouTube journey. ⬇️
Document everything! I am a brand new author 👉🏾 A Healer’s Journey to Healing It took me YEARS to get this book out and halfway through the process I decided to start filming every part of the process. I filmed the first copy of the book, my first speaking engagement, any obstacles I faced while writing I made sure to document that footage. We only see the finished product of most things but it was important for me to share the good, bad and ugly. I genuinely believe that by documenting my heart and sharing with my audience that it increased sales and reached an audience wider than I imagined. God really loves me!
2. BE CONSISTENT: Consistency is key to your success on YouTube. I have struggled with this in my early YouTube days and trust me when I say that it’s harder to get the ball rolling again once it stops. Back to my original point, FILM EVERYTHING!
3. MAKE A FULL PLAN: Brainstorm video ideas by using Pinterest etc….Write out a plan and execute! There are many social media management apps that allow you to schedule your content in advance. Here are a few that I use: Planoly Loomly Calendly
